Accessibility
So that you can assess whether you might encounter barriers with me, I have created an information page for this.It is important to me that everyone feels welcome and well looked after with me. I am constantly learning in this area and am always open to feedback and also to criticism. If you come across a barrier with me, please let me know.
Medically necessary accompanying persons and assistance dogs are of course welcome at any time. For dogs, I only ask for brief advance notice so that I can prepare accordingly.
In all courses and also in individual appointments, you can leave the room at any time, take a break or withdraw to a quiet space and come back. That is no problem at all and you don't have to explain yourself.
In my courses there is usually no music, and if there is, it is only very quiet in the background. On request I can leave it out entirely. Please understand that in the postnatal recovery courses several babies may cry at the same time. This cannot always be avoided. You are of course free to wear noise-cancelling headphones as long as this does not limit your participation in the course.
Sign language interpretation can be organized through the official channels. Please let me know as early as possible so that we can arrange this together. As a rule, health insurance covers the costs of sign language interpretation for medically necessary appointments. It is best to clarify this in advance directly with your health insurance provider. I do not yet have materials in plain language, but they are in progress. I am also working on documents in other languages, for example English. Documents to read in advance are not the norm, but you are welcome to ask for them at any time.
You know best what you need. If you would like to point out possible barriers in my rooms or courses, please write to me by email or via the contact form. Then we will find a solution together.
What is accessibility anyway? In brief: barriers are obstacles that make it harder or impossible for some people to take part in an offer. This can be a staircase, a narrow toilet, but also a lack of information in advance. These barriers lie in the rooms and structures, not in the people.

Individual appointments
The practice is on the third floor and is not barrier-free. Unfortunately, access may currently not be possible for people with a walking disability. In this case I offer home visits. Please contact me before booking an appointment so that I can plan the travel time. Home visits are possible at no additional cost to you if you live within a radius of about 20 km. For greater distances, just get in touch with me. The practice has its own parking space. In front of the room there is a small waiting area. The practice itself is a large room in which there are usually only you and me. Very occasionally, observers or students are present. If this is not feasible for you for health reasons, please contact me beforehand and ask whether someone will be present at your appointment.
